Ja servas!

Hier kommen wieder ein paar News aus Wien.
Dienstag ist Paul, der Leiter des Hauses, in die Mongolei geflogen, um anschließend zur Konferenz weiter zu reisen, und morgen früh fliegen die restlichen Miarbeiter nach China.
Dann gehört das Haus uns :)
Die Übergabe fand in vielem schon diese Woche fließend statt.
So hat Laura die Küche überwiegend geschmissen und Mike ist schon für die praktischen Arbeiten zuständig gewesen oder war beim Aufnahmegespräch unseres neuen Gastes(!) dabei. Wir spüren, dass es einige Verantwortung mit sich bringt, das Haus mit Leben zu füllen, praktisch und geistlich, und sind schon ganz gespannt auf die nächste Woche.

Here some news from Vienna.

Last Tuesday, Paul, the leader of the rehab, left for Mongolia. After some days he'll go on to China for the conference like the rest of the staff here who will leave tomorrow morning. Then the house will be ours :-)

The handover took place over the past days. To get already used to the daily duties we will be responsible for, Laura took over the kitchen and Mike the practical areas. Besides he joined the interview with the new rehab guest (!) who's just entered the program. We see the responsibility and challenge filling a house like this with life both practically and spiritually. Thus we are looking forward to next week.
Ja, wie schon gesagt: Wir haben seit Montag auch einen neuen Gast, Jiri. Er hat die letzten Tage auf der Straße verbracht, was unter anderem Paul und die Mitarbeiter bewegte, ihn schnell aufzunehmen, und nicht zu warten, bis sie wieder da sind. Das bedeutet für uns mehr Herausforderung, aber für ihn ein Dach über dem Kopf zu haben und eine Chance auf ein neues Leben mit Gott. Danke Jesus!

As mentioned above, last Monday our new guest, Jiri, moved in. Since he was living on the streets for several days, Paul was moved to take him in soon and not to wait till they are back from China. This means more responsibility for us, of course, but for him it means a dry place and the chance for a new life with God. Thank you Jesus!
